Who we are

Unified Insurance Solutions, LLC is an independent property and casualty insurance agency. We place home, auto, farm, business, and commercial coverage. We are not the insurance company. Coverage is issued by the company named on the policy.

Information we collect

We collect information you give us, and limited information our systems collect when you use the site or contact us.

• Name, address, email, and phone number, including a mobile number if you provide one.
• Information needed to quote or service a policy: drivers, vehicles, property, farm or business operations, prior coverage, and similar risk details.
• Quote requests and messages you send us by phone, email, form, or text.
• Text-message opt-in and opt-out records, including the number, the consent, and the date.
• Basic site data such as browser type and pages viewed, if our site collects it.

How we use it

We use this information to:

• Respond to a quote request and shop available companies.
• Place, service, and renew a policy, and help with a claim.
• Contact you about your request, your policy, or an appointment.
• Send text messages you have consented to receive.
• Meet insurance, tax, and other legal requirements.

How we share it

We share information only as needed to do the work you asked us to do, or as the law requires.

• Insurance companies, so they can quote, underwrite, issue, or service a policy.
• Service providers that work for us — quoting and agency systems, email, phone, and text-message delivery. They may use the information only to perform that service.
• A regulator, court, or other party when the law requires it.

We do not sell personal information. We do not share it with third parties or affiliates for their own marketing.

Text messaging and mobile information

If you give us a mobile number and consent, we may text you about a quote, a policy, an appointment, or a service request. Consent is not a condition of buying insurance. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply.

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.

All the above categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.

We may share a mobile number with the provider that delivers the text on our behalf. That provider may use it only to send the message. We do not sell mobile numbers or SMS opt-in consent.

Reply STOP to any message to opt out. Reply HELP for help. You may also call 515-978-8592 or email josh.sievers@uismidwest.com. We honor an opt-out promptly. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

Your choices

You may ask what information we have, ask us to correct it, or ask us to limit how we use it, subject to what the law and the insurance company require to keep a policy in force. Contact us at the address below.

Security and retention

We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards. No method of storage or transmission is perfectly secure. We keep information for as long as needed to service the account, meet insurance and legal record requirements, and resolve a dispute.

Children

Our site and services are not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from a child under 13.

Changes

We may update this policy. The effective date at the top will change when we do. The current version is the one posted on www.uismidwest.com.
